Bob Marley foi um cantor, compositor e guitarrista jamaicano, nascido a 6 de fevereiro de 1945 em Nine Mile, Jamaica. É considerado a figura mais importante da música reggae e um dos artistas mais influentes da música do século XX. Bob Marley ganhou notoriedade internacional como líder da banda Bob Marley and the Wailers. As suas músicas combinavam reggae com mensagens de paz, liberdade e justiça social, refletindo também a sua ligação ao movimento rastafári. Entre as suas canções mais conhecidas encontram-se No Woman, No Cry e One Love, que se tornaram símbolos da música reggae em todo o mundo. Bob Marley faleceu a 11 de maio de 1981, deixando um legado duradouro na música e na cultura global.
